Arkansas Missionary Update

ADVENTURE / LEADERSHIP / RELATIONSHIP
I'm so grateful for Young Life camping. Whether it's a week in the summer or a fall weekend, Kids and students, along with their leaders, experience slowing down to take a good look at the God of the universe and how this same God  desires a relationship with them.
In the Ozark-Bayou region here are the numbers from the school year and summer. These numbers represent souls that have been impacted by the gospel.

SUMMER CAMPING     1294
SCHOOL YEAR CAMPING   1519

HERE ARE A COUPLE OF THE STORIES FROM THE SUMMER:

This testimony comes directly from one of the students on the camp trip by the name of Anthony Stallings. Anthony has dealt with legal issues, homelessness and has struggled with mental health issues. After camp he sent this text to me.
“I made it home just wanted to let y’all know, also thank you guys so much for taking me to camp I really needed it and thank you guys for not giving up on me it really means a lot to me. You guys have helped open a new chapter of my life where I’m not full of anger and hatred because of the stuff I’ve been through. I now know that no matter how much I sin or how much hatred I have in my hears Jesus is gonna love me regardless as long as I repent and ask for his forgiveness. I also learned that tattoos don’t matter to Jesus lol. Love you guys can’t wait to see you guys again”

Isabella, Ava, Lola, and Kayden are best friends. Of the girls, only Kayden, our daughter, is churched. For the first time in her life, Isabella heard the Gospel. It dispelled all of the stereotypes of Christianity and God that she believed. She found a place where her many questions were welcomed. After a week filled with friends, laughter, and cabin times, she decided to go all in with Jesus. She still has questions, which are fun to try to answer, but she has been given a new heart, and it is so evident in how she is wholeheartedly reading her bible and the choices she is making with her life.

Thank you for loving Jesus and caring about this next generation getting the opportunity to know him and make him known.
With deepest love and appreciation,
Jud
