London Missionary Update

God is doing some incredible things here in London. I wanted to encourage you that your prayers and giving are having an impact in the lives of many students! Thank you for the role you are playing. Below is one story that shows how God is at work.  

Recently, Garrett and I had a great conversation with a student from Iran. I won't share his name to protect his identity.  He is Muslim but non practicing.  He is frustrated that his country forces people to practice Islam and makes it illegal to change religions.  God seems to be at work because he is beginning to see what Christianity offers. In his own words he told us that a Muslim believes God is their creator and therefore we are His slaves.  Now he understands that in Christianity, God loves us and we obey him in response to His love.  He said he wants to read the Bible! Last Tuesday Garrett sat down with him on campus and they were going to read the Bible. But, a security guard walked over and asked to see their student IDs.  Garrett was asked to leave because he is not a student, so he and the student walked outside, and didn't get to read the Bible that day. This has never happened before. It could be spiritual warfare trying to prevent a student from a closed country hearing more about Jesus. Please pray that we will be able to read the Bible with him soon. We are excited to be a part of what God is doing in his life.

Matt has finished raising his support and is now waiting on his visa to join us in London. Please pray that his visa gets approved quickly so that he can join our team.
That Rylee, our newest staff arrival, would continue to trust the Lord during her time of transition.
For new Bible studies to begin this month.  We have many great relationships and we want to ask many of them in the coming weeks to read the Bible with us.
