Brazilian Missionary Update

Dear Friends,
Just finished preaching at camp tonight. What a great blessing!
During the month of January, summer in Brazil, one of my roles is to rotate between camps having the privilege of sharing the Word of God to different age groups. How awesome it is to be back full speed and full house. To be able to see this wonderful group of young people responding to the invitation is so encouraging. Sometimes I get a little emotional thinking about the so many kids & teens specially, who couldn’t attend camp during pandemic. Our facilities were pretty much closed for over two years and when I see little hands up expressing a decision to receive Christ as personal savior, I remember those who are older now and have no time or interest anymore to come to camp - life demands now are different. They are busy growing up! It’s sad… seems we have lost a generation! Well, I know: God is in control - He will always be - we know that. But I keep thinking about the large number of kids age 16-18 now, who were 13-15 yo. during pandemic… They should have had the same opportunity - but were isolated, locked in their apartments watching TV or on their cellphones, not able to experience camp at their best age. We lost timing - this makes me really sad.
I'm really convinced God uses camping ministry, a wonderful experience that changes lives. Imagine: exploring the outdoors for days, away from home, having lots of fun, making new friends and learning from the Bible... all this right next to other kids going through the same kind of struggles and challenges. Wow Camping ministry provides the perfect environment for hearts to be open and make eternal decisions. What a blessing - I’m excited to be able to see it first had! Thousands of kids being changed by the Gospel every year - the grace of God reaching hearts bringing hope for the future… to become better individuals, men and women; better husbands and wives; better professionals serving people and making a difference in local churches. Some of them will be missionaries dedicating their lives to continue to preach this message: Jesus, the way, the truth and the life! Man, the Gospel can change an entire country! There is nothing more important than that: serve a living God by impacting an entire generation with the Gospel. What a holy privilege!
God willing, by the end of this month, we expect to reach a total of over 5,000 people in 6 different locations around the Sao Paulo and southern Brazil area. What a mission field - what a harvest. Praise the Lord!
Thank you so much for praying and giving. Your generous heart makes the difference for thousands of Brazilians. Thank you so much!
