Spanish Missionary Update
It's moving time!
Tuesday is our moving day! As you know we will be serving in a new role in Frontiers, leading the area of Strategy Coordination. We will be located in the south of Spain. These last few months have been a bit of haptic with giving trainings, preaching, meetings, getting acquainted with our new role and getting things ready to move. We are so grateful for how the Lord has been taking care of us during this transition and how He is leading us. Even though this is not our first transcontinental move, every move brings its own set of challenges and open doors that only the Lord can open.
Some of the challenges and prayer points we have for this season:
- For an uneventful flight, pray that all luggages will arrive safely and we won't have any issues transporting our dog. And even though we have all our documentation in order, we did live in a complex country that may cause trouble on our entry. So pray for grace and understanding from the boarder patrol agents.
- Renting an apartment/house there. Due to questionable legislation, locals are avoiding to rent their places especially for those with unusual sources.
- We need to find a well maintained used car, that will run well for a good few years.
- A new school for Thomas. The next day we arrive we will be visiting a few schools and are praying which is the one He wants us to enroll him in.
We are planning to send a more complete newsletter explaining what we done in the last months and update of the new things we will be doing in the next weeks once we are a bit more settled.
We are very thankful for your continuous prayer and support during our transition to a new season.
Rafael, Carol and Thomas
