England Missionary Update

 
Missions Team,

Mandy and I are so thankful for the role you are playing in our ministry here in London. We thank God for his faithfulness and how he is actively at work in the lives of students.  We are able to talk to people from all over the world about Jesus because of your partnership.  

The new year has gotten off to an encouraging start.  Join us in praising God for all he has already done and all that he is going to do in the months to come!

This semester Chad has started reading the Bible with four students.  Please pray for Ryan, Jon, Sebastian and Tunde.  Ryan, Jon and Sebastian are not yet followers of Jesus. Please pray that they would see the beauty of Christ and repent and believe.  Tunde is a young believer so please pray that he would be established in his faith.

On Thursdays we cook some pizzas and have a discussion group ranging from 5-10 students. Last Thursday we discussed the topic of Peace.  We asked questions like: "What is peace? Is peace possible in the world we live in? Is it possible to find lasting personal peace? Where/who do you look to find peace?"  Please pray that God continues to open doors for good Gospel conversations.

We have a new teammate! Kristen arrived in London earlier this month and has settled right in. It is a joy to have her on our team. Mandy and Kayla had fun showing her around London her first week here. Please pray for her as she is in the middle of a huge life transition. Pray that she would experience the nearness of God and that we as her leaders would be able to help her adjust to life in London the best we can.

Pray for Kayla and Kristen as they meet with Shiva.  Shiva is student from Iran and grew up in a Muslim family. She has found Islam lacking and is interested in hearing more about Christianity.  
Family Update

Lottie turned seven last week!  For her birthday she got a new bike so we went to the park next to our house so she could practice. She learned fast and is already riding on her own.  Annie was right there with her encouraging her.
