Elder led

Grace Church is led by a group of men called "Elders" as outlined in Scripture.
This group serves in a purely volunteer basis as the legal officers and spiritual guides of the church.
The lay elders are joined on the Elder Board by the pastors who submit to the protection of the unified decisions of the entire board.

Bishop Steven arnold

Visionary Pastor

Bishop Steven Arnold is a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas and brings over 40 years of serving as Senior Pastor. He dedicated two decades of service to St. Mark Baptist Church and 12 years to Grace Temple before forming Grace United. He is an alumnus of the historical Philander Smith College and Memphis Theological seminary. He and his wife, Shanta have 6 kids and 8 grandchildren.

joshua hurlburt

Directional Pastor

Pastor Joshua Hurlburt has called Little Rock home since 2007 served in multiple roles at Grace Church including youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor of Grace Church before forming Grace United. He is a graduate of Crichton College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Julie have 4 children.

Pastor Hurlburt celebrates and embraces the diversity of God’s people to serve the church.

roderick rogers

Executive Pastor

Pastor Roderick Rogers is a native of Fordyce Arkansas and brings experience in areas of church, business, and political leadership. He has been a Senior Pastor of several churches and has run several outreaches throughout Arkansas. He is an alumni of the School of Scripture and the Sure Foundation Leadership Institute.  He and his wife, Lena have 2 children.

Pastor Rogers looks to bring as many people into a relationship with Jesus as possible. 

aaron & kristi Kurtz

Youth Pastor

Aaron & Kristi Kurtz grew up in Grace Church and remained faithful members after becoming husband and wife and continued serving at Grace Church. After graduating college at Arkansas State University, they returned to Little Rock and accepted the role as Youth Directors for Grace Students. The Kurtz have 2 boys.

As leaders of the youth, they have a goal to guide young disciples that have taken ownership of their faith.

Cordell Piggee

Worship Leader

Cordell Piggee serves as  Grace United’s worship leader. He is a native of Little Rock and also attended the University of Central Arkansas. He has a passion for worship and allows his love for Jesus to overflow to the people through song. Cordell loves basketball but his biggest love belongs to his wife, Tiara and their 4 children.

Cordell believes that when you give love…you will receive love!

Karen Wenneker

Office

Karen Wenneker along with her husband Bill joined Grace Church and have been dedicated members over 36 years. Karen came to Little Rock as a missionary with Cru and Family Life. She currently serves as the Office Coordinator and is known to most as the “church mom” and the glue that holds everything together at Grace United. Karen’s family is faithful to the church body as her husband Bill was a former Elder. Her daughter Kristi, is one of the Youth Pastors. She is known as “Gummi” to her 3 grandkids. 

Paul catron

Finance

Paul Catron is responsible for the financial management at Grace United. Paul is a military veteran with a heart for service and is a committed church leader. After retiring from the military, he dedicated his time and talents to serving the church and serving Jesus by serving others. He and his wife, have 2 kids.

Dana clowers

Office & Finance Assistant

Dana Clowers has served in ministry most of her life alongside her husband, Mike including serving on the staff of Family Life. Dana has been on staff for 9 years and currently serves in the office as the Finance assistant as well as dedicating her time to serving Grace Kids leading in the kid’s ministry. Dana and Mike have been married for 40 years. She loves music, reading, gardening and enjoying her 5 grandchildren.

She loves the motto of the church and serving Grace Kids!
