From Confusion to Celebration

Apr 5, 2026    Bishop Steven Arnold

Easter Sunday marks the moment when Jesus transforms our deepest confusion into joyful celebration through His resurrection power. Two women, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, went to the tomb expecting to grieve but instead encountered the risen Christ. Jesus meets us exactly where we are in our brokenness, struggles, and transitions - we don't have to reach Him because He reaches us first. When He encounters us, His message isn't correction but celebration, commanding us to stop weeping and start rejoicing because victory has come. After salvation comes assignment - Jesus saves us not just to sit but to serve others who are still walking in confusion.
